The Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH) is a public Polytechnic in the Southwest of Nigeria. Its campus is located in Igbesa, an industrial town in the neighborhood of others such as Agbara, Lusada and Ota, Ogun State.

Founded in 2006, the Institute maintains a reputation as a top technology-intensive, entrepreneurial-sensitive post-secondary educational institution and produces products that are the pride of Nigeria.

OGITECH offers full-time and part-time courses for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes. The full-time students receive lectures from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday while part time students receive lectures on weekends (Friday to Sunday).

Full-time programmes takes a duration of 4 semesters and 2 years while part-time programmes takes a duration of 3 years of 6semesters.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND)

A minimum of Five (5) Credit Passes in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB SSCE or GCE O’Level obtained in subjects relevant to the Course of Study at not more than two sittings.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND)

1. A minimum of Five (5) Credit Passes in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB SSCE or GCE O’Level obtained in subjects relevant to the Course of Study at not more than two sittings.

2. Graduates of Ogun State Institutes of Technology, Igbesa or Diploma Certificate from recognized polytechnics with a minimum of National Diploma Certificate not below LOWER CREDIT (i.e. CGPA not less than 2.50)

3. With a minimum of One Calendar year Post National Diploma Relevant Industrial Work Experiences (SIWES). 

4. ND Certificate at PASS Level from other Institution not Accepted.
