KSP TEAM PRESENTS THE KASHIGA 2024 TROPHY TO THE RECTOR

After securing the third (3rd) position in the just concluded Kano State Higher Institutions Games (KASHIGA) 11th Tournament, tagged “Governor’s Cup, 2024”, Kano State Polytechnic team presented the trophy to the Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, FCA.
Speaking on behalf of the team, the Sports Coordinator, Ado Ya’u Kankarofi, who led the teams to the competition said that the students performed excellently in various games they participated.
He thanked the Rector and his management team for giving them the opportunity to participate in the tournament, adding that the victory will never be forgotten in the history of KSP.
The Rector while responding, congratulated the team on the feat it had achieved and asserting that the team makes KSP proud.
He described the victory as not only for the players, but the entire Institution. He further commended them for their sacrifices, emphasizing that the Institution will continue to provide all the necessary support and cooperation to the Sports unit and the players.
In a related development, the Central Administration football team led by Murtala Talle presented a trophy they won during the Rector’s Cup, 2024 tournament. It could be recalled that the Sports unit of Kano State Polytechnic organized a football competition among the various schools of the Institution, where the Central Administration team emerged as the winner of the competition.
