Kano State Polytechnic Announces Summer Examination Registration for Multiple Semesters in 2026

Kano State Polytechnic has officially announced the commencement of registration for the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th semester summer examinations, providing an important opportunity for eligible students to clear outstanding courses and meet graduation requirements.
According to the notice, the registration exercise began on Monday, March 30, 2026, and all affected students are advised to liaise with their respective departments for detailed guidance and necessary documentation.
The institution clarified that the summer examination is optional and strictly designed for graduating and spill-over students. Eligibility is limited to students with carryover courses or Continuous Internal Assessment deficiencies. Students with Deferred or Discontinued status are not permitted to participate, while those who have been withdrawn either academically or voluntarily are also excluded from the process.
To complete the registration, students are required to obtain clearance forms from their departments and proceed to the Management Information System office with evidence of previous registration payments for assessment. Those who did not register or participate in earlier summer sessions are expected to pay the applicable school fees before proceeding.
Candidates must then complete their registration at the designated Kano Poly Microfinance Bank, with the approved charges set at ₦4,000 for central registration, ₦1,000 for school registration, and ₦2,000 per course.
The Polytechnic outlined a structured timeline for the exercise. Registration and revision activities will run concurrently from March 30 to April 17, 2026, with departments coordinating academic revision sessions to support students. The summer examinations are scheduled to take place from Monday, April 20 to Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The management emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to the outlined deadlines and procedures, noting that late registration may not be accommodated. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to resolve outstanding academic requirements and stay on track for graduation.
The announcement was issued by Mahmoud Datti Yola, Director of Special Duties.
