I’ve been Jobless Since I Graduated From Ilaro Polytechnic — A Physically Challenged Man Begs Gov. Abiodun for a Job

Federal Polytechnic Ilaro graduate, Mr. Oyedele Oluwatimilehin, who lives with disability, has appealed to the state governor, Dr. Dapo Abiodun, for employment in the state civil service.
Mr. Oyedele, who is also an indigene of Ogun, said all his efforts to secure a job in the private and public sectors have been futile due to what he described as physical stigmatization.
Mr Oyeleye Oluwatimilehin said he’s a computer science graduate, hard working with good communication skills.

“I also did my mandatory NYSC scheme at the Bureau of Lands and Survey, Ogun state, in 2017/18, and after the completion of the service I have been jobless, and all efforts to get paid employment both in the private and public sectors have been unsuccessful, not due to my lack of qualifications but due to physical stigmatizations…


“Having survived Poliomyelitis at age 3 and struggling with it for over 30 years has not been easy, but I have the determination to strive hard, succeed Against all odds, and not be a Liability to anyone.”
“I am a very hardworking individual regardless of my physical disability, a free-spirited person with Good communication skills, and a very good team player.”
“I have indulged myself with different training in the last few years, and I will be a great asset to the state government and to the people of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.”
“It is my hope that, as a good father and a loving Governor who has the interest of helping his people at heart, you will see to my appeal and consider my employment because I know you are a listening Governor.”
