Fedpoly Damaturu Rector visits FEDPODAM Radio station, appoints Governing board
The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello was on Thursday visited FEDPODAM Radio, the Polytechnic owned radio as part of his familiarisation and assessment visit since his assumption.

While at the station, Dr. Bashir was received by the representative of the contractor Engr. Usman Abba Kyari, where he expressed his lamentation on delay in putting some equipment and accessories on ground for the radio to commence transmission.
He therefore asked the Deputy Rector Administration, the Information and Public Relations officer, Director Procurement and the contractor to put all administrative and in Technical merchinaries in motion toward the taking-off of the radio.
The Rector is optimistic that , if the radio commences transmission it will add value to teaching and learning in the institution
Meanwhile, the Rector has approved the constitution of the Governing board of the FEDPODAM Radio.
The board has Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua the Deputy Rector Administration as chairman and Chief Technologist Shuaibu Modu FIka as Radio Manager, while Muhammad Nura Nguru the Polytechnic Public Relations Officer, Abdulkareem Bashir Bello Head ,Department of Mass Communication and Hadiza Adamu a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication are members of the board.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
