FEDPOLY DAMATURU GETS NEW RECTOR

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello as the substantive Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu.

This was conveyed in a letter dated 4th February, 2024 signed by the permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education Dr. Nasir Sani Gwarzo, which indicates that the appointment is for the period of five years and takes effect from 4th February, 2025.

The new Rector who hailed from Adamawa state holds Phd in Remote Sensing and GIS.

He has been the staff of Kaduna Polytechnic since 1996, and he held many positions ranging from Head of Department, Environmental science, Director College of Environmental studies, Director Academic planning among others.

He is a Fellow of Nigerian Environmental Science ( FNES) among other professional bodies.

Dr. Ibrahim has many publications to his credit.
