FEDPOFFA Mgt. Congratulates WITED Creche On Silver Jubilee Graduation Ceremony

Management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa led by Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE has congratulated the Polytechnic WITED Creche on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Graduation Ceremony.
The graduation ceremony was held on Tuesday 25 July 2023 at the Polytechnic International Primary School premises.
Dr. Kadiri in his opening remark commended the Coordinator of WITED, Mrs. Anthonia Alawaye, and other executives for piloting the affairs of Women In Technical Education ( WITED) outstandingly.
According to him, “On behalf of the Management, I congratulate the WITED Executives under the able leadership of Mrs. Alawaye,
Distinguished Guests,
Members of the PTA, and parents for making today’s occasion colourful and memorable.
The Rector equally acknowledged the dedication and commitment of the creche teachers, adding that it is a great task teaching and taking care of kids and preparing them for the future. He, therefore, commended teachers for their impact and tutelage.
Speaking further, Dr. Kadiri profoundly appreciated the parents whose support and sacrifice have been the backbone of the success of the children. He prayed to Almighty God to reward them for the role they have been playing to prepare children for the future ahead; he urged the parents not to relent on their parental guide towards shaping the future of the young generation to pursue their careers.
While the Coordinator, Mrs Anthonia Alawaye thanked the Rector and his management team for their unwavering support for WITED. She described the Rector as WITED-friendly who is always ready to cater for their needs and prayed for his administration to be successful.
Speaking to the parents, Mrs. Alawaye admonished parents on the importance of adequate feeding patterns in the overall academic development of the child. She noted that every child is born with an equal intelligence quotient but the quality of feeding each child receives will have a significant effect on the brain.
According to her, “Our children are our jewels. We struggle to give them the best education. We should also ensure proper feeding to give a balanced diet. A well-nourished child tends to be more brilliant than a child exposed to too much carbohydrates and less protein.

While praying to God to make the graduating children great in life, she admonished parents and teachers to be good models for the children to emulate.
The ceremony was graced by the wife of the Rector who doubles as the mother of the day, Mrs. Adefunke Kadiri, the Deputy Rector Academics, Dr. (Mrs.) M.B Aliyu, Deputy Rector Administration, Dr. Salimonu Ishaq Rasheed, Polytechnic Librarian, Dr. Rasaq Femi Quadri, former Ag. Rector, Dr. (Mrs.) K. A. Olaosebikan, Senior Special Assistant to the Rector, Mrs Egbele J. F. among other WITED executives.
