Federal polytechnic Idah Management Bans Graduation Ceremony

The management of the Federal polytechnic Idah has banned all forms of wild celebrations of final examinations and graduation ceremonies by graduating students with immediate effect.
The school management stated that splashing of water, beating, blowing of trumpet and other wild celebrations are now prohibited in the polytechnic.
Any student who defaults this directive will be punished.
“You are hereby reminded that the ban on wild celebrations by graduating students at the end of their examinations is still in force…

“No student is allowed to indulge in pouring/throwing of water or “water libation”, beating of drum, blowing of trumpet or any of such unacceptable practices…
“Violators of this rule will face appropriate disciplinary measures to be determined by the Student Affairs and Disciplinary Committee.”
It added “It is a thing of joy that you are completing your study but you should not be on the negative side of the law.”
