EKITI POLY Will Produce Job Creators and Not Job Seekers, Rector Assures Matriculants, Parents and Guardians

The Rector, Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan – Ekiti has assured the newly admitted students that the Management would do everything within their reach to ensure that students from the State -Owned Polytechnic would graduate with needed skills that would enable them productive in the labour market and provide solutions to problems in the society as the case maybe.
Prof. Adesodun made this known while addressing the matriculants during the 2nd matriculation Ceremony.

He assured the students that the authority has put machineries and mechanism in place that would expose them to be employer of labour not job seekers after graduation.

The Polytechnic Boss maintained that the State Polytechnic was starting on a strong footing with the support from the Ekiti State Government while calling on the well-meaning Ekiti people to join hands with the authorities of the institution by providing financial and intellectual supports of the institution.

In His Word” I am excited to witness the 2nd Matriculation Ceremony of the Polytechnic, it was not an easy task, we started the struggle from 2013 but today we made history, and we give God the glory. I am assuring the parents and guardians that your wards are in safe hand, the authority of this institution have put mechanism in place to ensure that we produce job creators and not job seekers after graduation. This is going to be a different polytechnic entirely where graduates are self-employed and can compete with equals’ nationally and internationally after graduation.”

The Chief Executive of the Polytechnic charged the newly matriculated students of the institution to shun cultism and other immoral vices capable of truncating their academic pursuits in the institution. He added that, the newly established institution has zero tolerance for any form of misconduct and that Management would not hesitate to impose maximum sanctions on any head-strong students found culpable of disobeying the stipulated rules and regulations as enshrined in the students’ handbooks.
