Anambra State Polytechnic Strengthens Partnership With Education Ministry During Courtesy Visit

The management of Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu, has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing quality technical education following a courtesy visit to the Anambra State Ministry of Education.
The delegation, led by the Rector, Dr. Njideka Rita Chiekezie, was accompanied by principal officers, management team members, and staff of the institution during the visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ekene Ogugua.
The meeting focused on strengthening the existing relationship between the Polytechnic and the Ministry while discussing strategic initiatives aimed at improving academic standards, institutional development, and technical education across Anambra State.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Chiekezie expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Education for its continuous support and commitment to the growth of the Polytechnic. She reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to delivering quality education, promoting innovation, and producing highly skilled graduates capable of contributing to economic growth and sustainable national development.
The Rector also emphasized the Polytechnic’s readiness to collaborate with relevant stakeholders in expanding opportunities for students, improving learning facilities, and enhancing vocational and technical education in line with the state’s educational objectives.
In his response, the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ekene Ogugua, commended the leadership of Anambra State Polytechnic for its efforts in promoting academic excellence and strengthening technical and vocational education within the state.
He reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the institution’s developmental goals and assured the management of continued collaboration in implementing policies and initiatives that will improve educational outcomes.
The courtesy visit concluded with both parties reaffirming their shared vision of building a stronger partnership focused on expanding access to quality education, improving institutional capacity, and fostering sustainable development through technical and vocational training in Anambra State.
