Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa Announces Admission Requirements for NBTE Newly Approved HND Courses, Invites Qualified Candidates to Apply Promptly

The management of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, has unveiled the admission requirements for the three newly approved HND courses as accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

It is worth noting that the NBTE had granted accreditation to Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, and three HND courses were among the approved programs.

In accordance with the NBTE’s approval and directive, as conveyed in a letter addressed to the Acting Rector of the institution, Dr. Gbade Akinteye, which clearly stated that the institution should commence HND in SLT (Microbiology Option), HND in SLT (Biochemistry Option), and HND in Art and Design (Textile Option), the Institution’s Admission Committee and management have unanimously approved the advertisement of the admission requirements for these courses.

The admission statement released from the office of the Acting Registrar of the institution, Mr. Dele Oladipo, reads as follows:

ADMISSION INTO FULL-TIME HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) PROGRAMS FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) programs of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo State (formerly the Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo State) for the following accredited courses by the National Board for Technical Education.

The newly accredited HND courses, along with their entry requirements, are listed below:

HND SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY (Microbiology Option)

HND SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY (Biochemistry Option)

The entry requirements for HND SLT (Microbiology) and HND SLT (Biochemistry Option) are at least a lower credit level pass in National Diploma (ND) in SLT and a minimum of twelve (12) months of supervised Industrial Training Experience.

In exceptional cases, ND graduates with a pass grade but with two or more years of relevant working experience in the specific field may also be considered for admission into the HND Program.

HND ART AND DESIGN (TEXTILE OPTION)

A National Diploma graduates in FINE ART with a minimum of a lower credit pass in the discipline obtained from an NBTE accredited program, in addition to a minimum of one year of post-ND (Fine Art)  work experience in the field of specialization (Relevant ND Fashion Design and Clothing Technology), are eligible for this program.

Candidates with ND at a pass level and a minimum of two years of post-ND work experience may also be considered.
