VIDEO: Management Announces Break as Flood takes over Delta University

The Management of The Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro formerly Delta State polytechnic has announced a two weeks emergency break as flood takes over the university campus.
This decision according to the school management is part of the safety precaution to safeguard the life of students and staff.
The two weeks break takes effect from Friday 14th October to Sunday 30th October, 2022. Students are therefore advised to resume back to the institution on Monday 1st November, 2022.
“At an emergency meeting of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Jacob S. Oboreh, with the Management and Deans of Faculties held on October 14, 2022, the devastating effect of flood on Campus was discussed. The effect was enormous and Students’ safety was paramount on the agenda….
“Consequently, it was decided that the University be closed for two (2) weeks with immediate effect. i.e Friday, October 14, 2022. Students are therefore expected to resume on Sunday, October 30, 2022 while Lectures/Continuous Assessment tests would commence on Monday, November 1, 2022.”
