THE RECTOR FEDPOLY BALI AND 2 OTHERS RECEIVE BEST RECTOR AWARD 2024

The Rector Federal Polytechnic Bali, Dr. Mohammed Usman, Represented by The Dean School of Science and the Rectors of Federal Polytechnic Bida and Federal Polytechnic Oko respectively received award of Excellent Leadership from the “Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa (LSGGA).

Dr.Tajudeen Lamidi received the award on behalf of the Rector on Tuesday, at his office.

The Presenters of the award Mr. Odey Roland Director Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa and Comr. John M Tondo Northern Coordinator LSGGA also presented award of Excellent Leadership to the Registrar of the Polytechnic Bali Alh. Sirajo Isa El_Yakub and the Outgone Bursar Dr. Abdu Yakubu Mohammed.

The Presenters of the award also applauded the awardees for their immense contributions  in the rapid growth of the Federal Polytechnic Bali.

Responding on behalf of the recipients, Dr. Tajudeen Lamidi appreciated the organization for recognizing the immense contributions of the Rector, whom he said has followed the footsteps of his predecessor, Dr Saidu Umaru Jen.

According to Dr.Lamidi, the Rector has done well in the academic and infrastructural development within the last two (2) years of his stewardship which made him qualified for the award alongside his mates. The performance of the Rector is highly commendable inview of geographical location and absence of national grid on Bali.

Similarly, outgone Bursar appreciated the honour given to them from the LSGGA and assured to do more in promoting the activities of the Polytechnic for the benefit of the  institution, community as well as Africa as a whole.
