RELEASE OUR RESULTS – POLY IBADAN STUDENTS APPEAL TO MGT

The Student union government of The polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo state, has appealed to the management of the institution to release the previous semester examination results before the commencement of second semester 2020/2021 examination.

The president of the union also urge management to resolve all portal issues as some students are unable to Pay school fees and also print course forms.

According a memo obtained by POLYTV, below are demands of the student union before the commencement of examination.

1) All previous semester to be realsed and pasted before 24 hours

2) All previous score  sheets should be send to all department so all results can be inputted.

3) The PT Students must complete their unfinished Examination before full time Start.

4) All students residing in all hostel must feel comfortable during the  examination period, i.e in terms of electricity and water.

5) General Portal issues should be cleared.

¡) Course form issues of all students in each department.

¡¡) For example, Students of Accountancy that’s displaying SLT on the portal.

¡¡¡) We need a working portal.

iv) Some of our students can not pay their fees, this isn’t fault but due to the portal error.

v) Some student in HND1/ND1 haven’t been cleared this made them not to pay their school fess.

vi) To (v) above they can’t register for EED as at now, if exam commence it is automated carryover.

6) We need a working examination table we as, carry over courses won’t affect the present courses and no lecturer will collect our students paper when there is still time.

7) All project Students must be attended to before we commence our exam, some lecturers are delaying our project Students and we want the management to look into this.

8) All bushes in the school premises and examination halls environs to be cleared before we commence this examination.

9) The academic calendar states 2 weeks for marking and recording and a week for finalizing results, we want this to happen after our final examination.

The student union added that “We plead to all concerned offices to act on this as all students in the prestigious institution aren’t calm and will be forced to react if there no  positive action on this listed above.”
