OSPOLY Mgt Partners With Blazetech To Register, Rectify Students’ NIN Issue, Provide Plastic Cards At Subsidized Rates.

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced its recent partnership with Blazetech to offer National Identification Number (NIN) registration services to interested students of the institution.
This was revealed to the entire students in an internal memorandum dated 4th February, 2025 from the office of the Registrar and signed by Mr. Abiodun Oloyede.
According to the memo, it was asserted that “the National Identification Number (NIN) registration and issuance of and issuance has become aspects of National life. Virtually all operations in the country are linked to NIN; (JAMB registration, NYSC mobilization, opening of bank accounts, voters registration and the fourth coming census registration).
“As a responsible and responsive Management, we need to keep our students abreast of all the emerging issues to ease the burden on Staff and Students.”
The memo expressed that the Management has therefore secured the services of a Government approved NIN centre (Blazetech), to handle all issues relating to NIN registration for the students at highly subsidized rates.
The package include: NIN Enrollment; NIN Validation; Retrieval of lost NIN and Issuance of NIN Plastic Card.
However, it was noted that “all these cost a lot in the public but the Institution has reached an agreement with Blazetech to render all these services at the rate of One Thousand Seven Hundred Naira (#1,700) only which has been highly subsidized the sum for every interested students.”
Furthermore, the Management explained that all interested students are to pay the One Thousand Seven Hundred Naira (#1,700) only to OSPOLY Microfinance Bank account number (2030003905) and take the teller to the Bursary Department to obtain a receipt while the NIN slip is to be attached to a photocopy of the receipt which should be submitted to the respective Faculty Officers for the processing. Also, it was said that the NIN cards shall also be collected on completion through the Faculty Officers.
Notwithstanding, the memo expressed that all interested students are expected to take effect payment between Thursday, 6th February and Friday 28th February, 2025 when further processing of the requests shall commence
