New Era at OGITECH: SUECO Swears In Fresh SUG Executives on Monday

The Students’ Union Electoral Committee (SUECO) of the Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, has announced that the much-anticipated inauguration of the newly elected Students’ Union Government (SUG) executives will take place on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The event, which will officially usher in the new administration, is scheduled to hold at 12:00 PM inside the Prince Dapo Abiodun Twin Lecture Theatre, Hall A.
According to SUECO, the inauguration will see Comrade Fadilu Ilo Temitope sworn in as the Students’ Union President, while Rt. Hon. Ahisu Omoniyi Opeyemi will take the oath of office as Speaker of the 9th Assembly of the Students’ Parliamentary Council.
In a press statement, the electoral committee described the occasion as the long-awaited transfer of leadership baton that will shape student politics on campus in the coming year. SUECO further directed that all newly elected officers, alongside outgoing executives, must be present at the ceremony.
The atmosphere on campus is already charged with excitement as students look forward to witnessing the new leaders take office, promising a fresh chapter in OGITECH’s student governance.
