ODORBN Grants Full Accreditation Status to Pyramid College of Health Sciences and Technology, Kano

The accreditation status of the College has been elevated after the conclusion of the accreditation visit conducted by the team representing the board.
The Registrar, Optometrists and Dispensing Opticianry Registration Board of Nigeria, congratulated the Management of Pyramid College, hinted that the status elevation was as a result of excellent practice, functional laboratories coupled with qualified teaching personnel.
In addition, the Registrar(ODORBN), sought the College Management not to rest on its oars but continue to give the best quality training in tandem with tenets of the Board.
In his remarks, the Registrar, Pyramid College of Health Sciences and Technology, Alh Bashir Dahiru Galadanci, thanked the Board for the full accreditation status granted to raise the admission quota from 30 to 50.
He maintained that the College has continued to excel in practical areas due to the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and the unwavering support of its staff.
This is timely, as it is coming at time when the College is planning to pioneer the floating of HND in Dispensing Opticianry.
The Provost, Alh. Lawal Abdu Mashi, expressed delight towards the 4- year Full accreditation status granted as opposed to the initial two years.
He thanked the almighty Allah for making these efforts lead to fruition. On his part, the HOD, Dispensing Opticianry, Dr Topah E. Kings, thanked the Management for been supportive of the Department, he also thanked the board and pledged to maintain standards and work in consonance with the ethics of the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticianry Registration Board of Nigeria.
