Ijero College of Health Observe Monthly Prayer in Grand Style

The Elesure of Esure Ekiti, Oba Adebanji Ajibola has described Jesus Christ as the Almighty, and one who has all the powers in heaven and on Earth.
While ministering at the June edition of the College Monthly prayer programme, the Monarch urged participants, comprising staff and students, to accord Jesus due honour in their lives, noting that He alone is the saviour of the world.
The Elesure charged students of the college to be diligent in order to excel in their career.
He maintained that students who perform excellently would usually earn the respect of their lecturers.
Oba Alabi who also called on the College Management to invest in Agriculture, urged them to be prudent in managing resources at their disposal.
The Monarch expressed optimism that the aspirations of the College Management will become reality, and prophesied that the current administration in Ekiti State will favour the institution.
Earlier, the College Provost, Dr. (Mrs.) Cecilia O. Adebayo had restated the need for Staff and Students to imbibe the habit of making positive confessions, irrespective of the challenges they are confronted with.
While addressing the college community, Dr. Adebayo noted that their is power in the tongue.
The Provost maintained that the prayer walk was significant, adding that the notable achievements of the current College Management are traceable to; envisioning great ideas, pursuing actualization of same diligently, and making positive confessions.


The programme that featured word exposition, prayer sessions and song ministration, was preceded by a prayer walk that started at the college gate, from where staff and students moved en masse to the recently commissioned Hon. Omowumi Ogunlola hall; venue of the prayer programme, while singing and dancing.
It was attended by the Provost; Dr. (Mrs.) Cecilia Adebayo, the Deputy Provost; Mr. Kayode Abolarin, the Registrar; Mrs. Caroline Ogunsakin, the Bursar; Dr. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Alonge, the Librarian; Mr. Folorunsho Olayinka, Deans, Directors, Heads of Department, Academic and Non-Teaching Staff as well as Students of the College.
