NANS Pays a Courtesy and Inspection Visits to Kwara State College of Nursing OKE-ODE

– Appreciate the Kwara State Government for their efforts towards the smooth operation of the school and call on the government attention to some germane issues regarding the uplift of the professionalism and further standard of the college.

The leadership of the apex students body in Kwara State (NANS JCC) ably led by the chairman Comrade GËê~RóÕpHaI, yesterday pays a courtesy visit to the management of the KWCONOO to discuss some critical matters regarding the students welfare, tour around the institution environment and inspect the old and new infrastructures in the campus.

The Provost, Bursar and Director of Student Affairs (DSA) of the college on behalf of the management receives the delegates of NANS Kwara with cheerfully welcome to the institution, appraised and apprehend the strong commitment and dedication of the delegates.

The Chairman of NANS Kwara, commend the resourceful efforts and developing impacts of the provost since his appointment, also, for promoting a peaceful, conducive and students-friendly learning atmosphere and extra-curricular experience to all the KWCONOOites.

The chairman on behalf of delegates appreciated the management for working together with the SUG body and some NANS representatives in the institution for the best interests of the entire students in the campus.

Furthermore, the chairman highlighted some important areas affecting the students and need for the management to address them. The issues not limited to, provision of workable coasters bus that will ease the mobility stress of students during out-campus activities like practical, posting and excursion, stable electricity within and at the students hostels, accreditation of more schools/courses to increase the quota of students that will be admitted yearly, building of school owned hostels to exhale the challenge of accommodation among students among other needs that will enhance best academic performances of our students in the institution.

Some necessary and fundamental solutions to the aforementioned problems, were proffer by the chairman during his presentation, at same time implore the management to liaise with appropriate quarters in order to ensure lasting-solution to all the problems.

The Provost of the college Alhaji Abdulquadri Olanrewaju, while giving his remarks on behalf of the management, again expressed their utmost gratitude to the leadership of NANS for deem it fit to pays a visit to the institution at this critical time and against all the challenges encountered by delegates while plighting to the college. He then received the copies of the 5th edition of the acme magazine of association which was used to honor the Executive Governor of Kwara State and also eulogized the leadership of the apex association for that giant record.

Speaking further, the provost outlines the bold steps and strategies earlier taken by the management to improve the quality, productivity, performance and professionalism of the college, the current and new yardsticks to be implemented in order to address the challenges facing the college, also that they will not seize in the discussion and relationship with the appropriate offices in the state government and other prominent individuals within the state to get all the issues resolved. He promise that the situation will be improved in no distance time and inform the delegates that some of this projects are already ongoing in the campus.

On a final note, the Chairman appreciate the management for the warmth reception and for the good interactive-discussions and promise that the leadership will also keep contributing their quota towards the project of upgrading of the college. He then, call the quick attention of the state government to:

– Provision of coaster buses to the college
– Support from the government for the accreditation of other school in the college by the National Nursing Council
– Construction of additional hostel accommodation for students.

NANS JCC Kwara State Axis is the apex association in the state that oversees the interest of Nigerian Students studying in Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges and other allied institutions in the state.
