Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Set to Conduct SUG Election, Releases Timetable

Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, Kaduna State is set to conduct Students union election for the 2021/2022 academic session as sale of forms into various position has commenced in earnest.

The school management confirmed to POLYTV that the election will hold online via e-portal July 1st 2022.

All interested aspirants are to purchase the form from the Secretary Office Dean Student Affairs (UPE Main Campus). The office will be open for the sales from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the week.

The closing date for the purchase of forms is 21 June, 2022 as screening, manifesto and election follows afterwards.

Below is the timetable for the conduct of the student union election.

1. Formation of ELCOM – 13th June 2022

2. Inauguration of ELCOM – 15th June 2022

3. Sales of forms to interested candidates – 15th June, 2022

4.  Screening of candidates – 22nd June, 2022 23rd June, 2022

5. Releasing list of screened candidates – 23rd June 2022

6. Campaigns – 24th June, 2022

7. Voting via the polytechnic portal – 1 July, 2022

8. Releasing election results – 1 July, 2022

The school management have also released the Price for forms for each position at the Students union level. Below are the price attached for various positions.
