NSUK VC Commissions I.T. Suite, Commends ICT Director For Innovative Leadership

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed has commended the Acting Director of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, Idris Sule for the introduction of innovative and proactive leadership in the Directorate.
The Vice-Chancellor gave the commendation on Wednesday 13th December 2023, when he commissioned the new IT Suite located in the ICT complex.
Professor Suleiman noted that since the assumption of duty as the Acting Director, he has brought innovations in the ICT Directorate which has positively impacted learning, teaching and research in the University citing the introduction of the Learning Management System LMS, Result Logic and the conduct of the GST exams as clear examples of the innovations, he however charged the Acting Director to find ways of modifying exams in the centre to ease the stress of students.


In his remark, the Acting Director of ICT Idris Sule explained that the fifty (50) desktop computer systems fully kitted with internet service were purchased from the Internally Generated Revenue of the ICT Centre, stating that this is the first batch, as the second batch of 50 desktops is also underway.
Mr. Idris who thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his pragmatic and purposeful leadership further remarked that the ICT Suite will be run as a revenue-generating outfit and will be used for promotion exams and executive training for staff of organizations who want to take advantage of such facilities.
