No School Fee No Examination: OYSCATECH Management Postpones Examination, Ask Students to go to Court

The management of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH) has postponed the First semester 2020/2021 examinations till further notice and directed the resumption of academic activities for the second semester 2020/2021 session.
According to the statement released after the meeting held on Wednesday, 26th October, 2022 No students will be allowed to sit for the postponed examination without full payment of school fees and other registration formalities.
The school management further directs the Students to go to Court and get a sworn affidavit of good behavior and submit a duplicate copy to the Students Affairs office effective from Monday 31st October 2022.
According to the memo obtained by POLYTV: “The Board has equally directed that all students are required to visit the High Court of Justice to swear an affidavit to be of good conduct. Duplicate of the sworn affidavit to be submitted at the Academic Affairs Office with effect from Monday, 31st October, 2022, while original copy would form part of the clearance for the 1st semester examination.

“Students who have not collected their examination clearance are advised to visit the faculty office to collect, for no student will be allowed to participate in the 1st semester examination postponed without portal clearance and evidence of sworn affidavit. All students are enjoined to take note of the various decisions of the Board for necessary compliance.”
The school management stated that Second Semester academic activities will commence on Monday 14th November 2022, advising students to complete all registration formalities for the first semester.
“The 2nd semester 2020/2021 academic session commences on Monday, 14th November, 2022. Students who have not completed the registration for the 1st semester 2020/2021 academic session are advised to avail this opportunity to pay all the outstanding fee & levies, complete the registration process and to visit the faculty office with the course registration form duly signed to register their names for the purpose of clearance generation for the examinations.”
