NBC Approves MAPOLY Radio to Start Test Transmission on 99.7 FM

Moshood Abiola polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY) has officially joined the committee of campus radio Institutions in Nigeria, following the approval of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to begin test transmission on 99.7FM.

The test transmission takes immediate effect and subsequently, will start full operation on the same frequency modulation as the “voice of development”.

He added that, the campus radio would not only serve as a practical medium for modern broadcast journalism but also to enhance communication among MAPOLY’s ecosystem through educational and developmental programmes both terrestrially and online via mapolyradio.com

Odedeji assured that, the radio station is taking off when the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) would be visiting the Polytechnic for re-accreditation of programmes & resource inspection of 17 new programmes by August this year.
