NAPS Declares Nationwide Protest to End HND and Bsc Dichotomy Urge Polytechnic Students to Participate

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has declared a massive protest, POLYTV has learnt.
The protest according to the student body is to compel president Mohammadu Buhari to sign the bill ending the dichotomy between HND and Bsc certificates.
NAPS Deputy senate president, Comrade Adeniji Boluwaji has directed all SUG presidents of Nigerian polytechnics and college of Technology to begin mobilization ahead of the massive protest which has been fixed for Thursday 11th May, 2023 at the Federal Capital territory (FCT).
The leadership of NAPS said they’re hopeful this movement will yield a positive result urging polytechnic students to join them in the struggle by participating in the protest.
POLYTV had earlier reported how the Academic staff Union of polytechnics (ASUP) begged the Nigerian government to allow polytechnics to award degrees and end the stigma between the HND and Bsc certificates.
