MOST COMPLIANT INSTITUTION: OGITECH CLINCHES JAMB AWARD
The Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa has been recognised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), as the Most Compliant Institution in Keeping to the Guidelines in the 2019 Admission.
The Institute received this recognition on Thursday 17th December, 2020 at the National Tertiary Admissions Performance Merit Award held at JAMB Headquarters, Bwari, Abuja, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
OGITECH trumped the University of Calabar and Cross River University of Technology, both of which had a tie in the 2nd position.
The award and wining prize was presented by the Honourable Minister for Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu through the Honourable Commissioner for Education Science and Technology in Ogun State, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu to the Rector, Engr. Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Olanike Akinkurolere, FNSE, the Ag. Registrar, Mrs Sakira Olajumoke Johnson and the Admission Officer, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Adegoroye.
Reacting to the award, the Rector Engr. Dr. (Mrs.) Akinkurolere FNSE appreciates all staff of the Institute for their doggedness and commitment to quality and excellence. She expressed her delight for the support the Institute has had since the beginning of the present administration of the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun MFR. She also thanked Prof. Arigbabu for the exemplary leadership he has displayed to make Education a priority in the state.
