Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic is an innovative, Science, Technology and comprehensive research institution, founded in 1983 and built on a longstanding teaching science and technology perspective, the roots of which can be traced back to the KCAST, Zaria.

The polytechnic runs regular and part-time programmes at both ND and HND level. The vision of the polytechnic is to become a world class Polytechnic that excels in the provision of technical and technological manpower through training and research for the overall societal advancement.
