Lenspoly MMT Graduate Features In Nollywood Thriller, Appreciates Polytechnic For Imparting Quality Education

A distinction graduate of Multimedia Technology Department, Ruth Yakubu has taken to her social media platform to appreciate the Lens Polytechnic Offa for imparting quality knowledge for her productive performance while on set as one of the casts in a movie.

Ruth who recently featured in Nollywood movie ‘titled Albeit’ expressed a sense of career progression as she meets different Nollywood stars in the industry.

According to her post, “My name is Ruth Yakubu, l’m a multimedia student. I’m on set with a lot of actors”title ALBEIT”, I was interviewed, showcased my talent. Thanks to Lens Polytechnic Offa and Multimedia Department for imparting quality knowledge, I am just an up and coming actress who is ready to learn and to explore.”

In his reaction, the Proprietor, Dr. Azeez Yisa FCA congratulated Ruth on her debut in Nollywood as a beginner. The Proprietor noted that the Polytechnic values skills, knowledge, ethics and will always bring out the exceptional abilities in the students. Dr. Azeez added that the school upholds Polytechnic mandate with practicals which enables the institution’s graduates to compete distinctively in the labour market. While making reference to many Lens Polytechnic graduates who are making waves in different field of endeavours, he admonished Ruth not to relent on her career path.

The Head of Department of Multimedia Technology, Mr. Oni Victor Olajide encouraged the ex student to remain focused with her acting career, he therefore commended the Management for creating a conducive environment for teaching, learning and research.
