IMP Students DINE Directly with their respective Culture as Rector Encourages them to value their Culture

As part of the numerous events/ programmes marking the 2024 students’ week of Ibom Metropolitan Polytechnic ,Uyo, the students showcased their various cultural troupes.

The cultural day commenced at about 12 noon today with different troupes well- decorated and adorned with their different cultural attires .

Some of the notable troupes that were present in the event were : Ibibio, Annang, Oro, Igbo ,Efik, etc.

The event was graced by the Rector , Engr Nnanmonso Akpabio ably represented by the Registrar, Dr Daniel Gregory Sunday , the Dean of Students, Mr Udeme Uwah, top management staff, SRC executive , and other lovers of culture across all walks of life .

The event was characterized by traditional boxing , cooking competition, ballad, and lots more.
