IMAP Rector Hands Over Hostel Construction Site to Contractors

Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, will be wearing a magnificent look in a short while as part of strenuous efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule and the relentless determination of Dr Nurudeen M Maifata CLN administration to better the lots of the institution.
Today, the Acting Rector of the institution, Dr. Nurudeen Muazu Maifata has formally handed over site and documents for the construction of a 200-room-capacity hostel to the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport to immediately commence construction.
Dr. Maifata who took the team of supervisors and contractors round the proposed site, urged them to expedite action in delivering quality work in line with approved specification.
He appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule, the Visitor to the Polytechnic, for his unprecedented development strides in the institution, promising to ensure full actualization of the institution’s mandate.
Commenting, the supervisor of the project, Mr. Richard Embugu, said the contract had a timeline of four months, expressing commitment in government’s willingness to completing the work on time and according to specification.
The Acting Rector had in his entourage the Bursar, Zainab Dalhatu, Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, Mukhtar Wakeel, Director of Physical Planning, Ismaila Mukailu among others.
