IJERO COLLEGE OF HEALTH SIGNS MOA ON PROVISION OF HEALTH INSURANCE TO STUDENTS

The College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the International Health Management Services Limited (IHMSL) on the provision of Health Insurance to Students of the College, under the Tertiary Institution Social Health Insurance Programme (TISHIP).
In her opening remark, Provost of the College, Dr. (Mrs.) Olajumoke Adebayo restated commitment of the institution’s Management to the wellbeing of Students.
Represented by her Deputy, Mr. Kayode Abolarin, who played host to officials of the International Health Management Services Limited (IHMSL) at the College conference room, the Provost described the MOA signing as historic, having being one of the earnest desires of the institution’s Management.
Managing Director of the Scheme, Dr. Chidi Ukandu who was represented by its Acting Regional Manager, Mr. Taiwo Fakunle applauded the College Management for taking the bold step towards cementing agreement resulting in the MOA signing.


Accompanied by the Scheme’s Project Manager, Ado-Ekiti Branch, Mrs. Olakunle Elizabeth, Mr. Fakunle, on behalf of the scheme promised to not let Management of the institution down, having successfully managed other higher institutions in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the MOA signing was witnessed by the College Registrar – Mrs. Caroline Ogunsakin, the Bursar – Dr. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Alonge; Acting Chief Medical Director, College Health Centre Services – Dr. Adeoye; Dean, Students’ Affairs – Mr. Ayoola-Olasoji Iluku, and the College’ Legal Officer – Barr. Moses Adeojo.
