IDAH POLY ISEC RELEASES TIMETABLE FOR SUG ELECTION

The Students Independent Electoral commission, Federal polytechnic Idah chapter has released timetable for the conduct of the 2022/2023 students Union and Student representative council election as sale of nomination forms commences.

The students Union election will hold on Saturday 6th August 2022.

Below are the approved timetable and activities order for the students Union and student representative election.

1-5/7/2022 –  Full publication of Electoral and Election Guidelines

6-13/7/2022 – Sales of Nomination Form for SUG Aspirants, Hall Governors/Departmental Associations, Clubs Representatives for ESRC

22/7/2022 – ISEC meeting with Departmental Presidents and Secretaries, Registered Association Presidents and Secretaries, Club Presidents and Secretaries

27/7/2022 – Screening Committee conducts Screening for ESRC Aspirants

28/7/2022 – Screening Committee conducts Screening for SUG Aspirants

29/7/2022 – Election into ESRC for all Departments in: SOE & SES

01/8/2022 – Election into ESRC for all Departments in SBS & SOT

02/8/2022 – Election into ESRC for all Departments in SOGAS and Hostels

03/8/2022 – Meeting/Seminar for qualified SUG Aspirants, Senators & Reps

04/8/2022 – Campaign by all Aspirants opens

05/8/2022 – Campaign closes and Manifesto presentation begins

06/8/2022 – Election Day

8-9/8/2022 – Petition(s) if any from aggrieved contestants
