Ibadan Poly Bans Indecent Dressing Threatens to Suspend Students for Kissing, Hugging and Sitting on..,

The Management of the Polytechnic Ibadan has banned all forms of indecent dressing in the institution with immediate effect, advising the students to dress in a decent manner.
The Institution stressed that certificates are awarded to students found worthy in both academic pursuits and good character.
The school authority urged the polytechnic students to abide by the school dressing code and has threatened to suspend any defaulter student(s) by one semester.
Some of the banned dressing in the polytechnic are:
1. Multi Coloured Braid for Female
2. Coloured Hairstyles
3. Hair Braiding for Male
4. Dreadlocks
5. Spangled Hair style for Male
6. Earring for Male/Cowries for Female
7. Unconventional Wearing of Face Cap/ Fez Cap
8. Tattered Jeans
9. Micro/Mini Dress
10. Crop Tops/Jump Tops
11. Off Shoulder Clothes
12. Backless Clothes
13. Transparent Wears
14. Bum Shorts
15. Nose, Mouth Eye Extra rings
16. Sagging
17. Tattoo
The school management added that intimate open embrace and hugging, openly sitting on each other’s lap are prohibited in the polytechnic. Also, nursing mothers have been banned from the school hostel.
