FUTO VC Commissions 3 Completed Projects on Campus, Harps on Leaving Lasting Legacy

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Prof. Mrs. Nnenna N. Oti, has commissioned 3 completed building projects in the University.
The projects are the University Central Store, Department of Computer Science block, and Department of Information Technology block.
Speaking during the brief ceremony, the VC emphasized that the best achievement a public servant should boast of is “leaving a lasting legacy behind.”
Earlier, the Director of Physical Planning & Development (PP&D), Arc. Dr. A. I. Ezeocha disclosed that the key projects were completed under the watch of Prof. Mrs. Oti.


He commended the VC for ensuring the speedy delivery of the projects, and attracting viable projects to the University.
Other highlights of the ceremony include a tour of the facilities by the VC and members of the University Management, and the official hand-over of the projects to the designated users.
It is noteworthy that two of the projects were sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
