BOUESTI Adopts Ekiti Student Skill-Up with YOMA Project

The management of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has officially adopted the Ekiti Student Skill-Up with YOMA project, a digital empowerment initiative supported by UNICEF and the Ekiti State Government.
The adoption was made yesterday during a working visit to the institution by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs., Modupe Mary Adetiba.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olufemi Adeoluwa, affirmed the university’s readiness to key in its students and actively participate in the initiative. He was joined by other key stakeholders including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Ojo Ekiran; the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr C.O. Daramola; and other members of the university’s management team.
Shortly after the engagement with the management, the SSA held a strategic engagement with student leaders across the institution to sensitise them on the objectives of the initiative and encourage their active participation.
The university’s leadership pledged full support for the project, expressing readiness to mobilise students and promote future work skills, innovation, and student development, in line with Governor Biodun Oyebanji Shared Prosperity Agenda.
