Fedpoly Nasarawa Bans Graduation Ceremony
The management of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa has banned all forms of graduation ceremony by final year students with immediate effect.
Some of the celebrations banned include water bath, reckless driving of cars and motorcycles among others.
The security unit has been given the go-ahead to enforce this latest development.
“Management in recent development has observed with dismay the vices associated with students’ graduation celebration, which greatly impede on peaceful co-existence and stability within the Institution.”
“In view of the above, I am directed to inform members of the Polytechnic Community and the students in particular that, activities such as water bath celebration, reckless driving of cars and motorbikes within the campus as a mark of celebration has been banned forthwith. These acts are capable of causing panic, health challenges and giving room for nefarious activities.”
“By this notice, the Dean, Students Affairs and the Security Unit are kindly requested to ensure strict enforcement of this directive within the campus, please.”
