Federal Polytechnic Nekede Opens 2025 Post-UTME Screening — Cut-off Mark, Requirements, and How to Apply

The Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. All UTME candidates who made the institution their first or second choice and scored 100 and above are invited to register online for the screening exercise.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants must:
- Have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Nekede as their First or Second Choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Have scored 100 and above in the UTME.
- Possess five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO or NABTEB.
- Have the correct JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.
Required Documents for Online Screening:
- Valid O’Level Result(s) (WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB)
- 2025 UTME Score
- JAMB Subject Combination for the chosen course
How to Apply:
- Visit the Polytechnic application portal at https://ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng.
- Fill out the online biodata form to generate an invoice number.
- Pay the screening fee of N5,000 only via the Remita platform at any commercial bank nationwide, or use a debit card (Verve, Visa, or MasterCard) for instant payment online.
- Return to the portal to complete the application and print the acknowledgment slip.
Applicants can complete this entire process from anywhere in the country — there’s no need to travel to Owerri just to submit the form.
Important Notice:
- Any mismatch between your O’Level grades, JAMB score, or registration number will disqualify you.
- Candidates who selected Nekede as Second or Third choice must change it to First choice on the JAMB portal before they can be considered.
- Candidates can also change courses and upload updated O’Level results at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
Deadline:
All applications and payments must be completed on or before midnight of 31st August, 2025.
The Polytechnic also reminds interested applicants that forms for National Diploma, Higher National Diploma (Part-Time), and HND (Regular) programmes are still on sale.
