Federal Polytechnic Ekowe to Welcome NBTE for Accreditation of More Courses

The Rector,  Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa state, Dr. agbabiaka Lukman Adegoke and members of the  management team embark an on the spot assessment of facilities ahead preparations of new courses in the Polytechnic Main campus Ekowe. Facilities include, classroom/office structures, Laboratory equipment, Polytechnic farms and other key factors considerable to NBTE standard.

The essence is to ensure a quality assurance process and programmes that will aid the institution to attain  academic goals by meeting the guidelines & standards set by the accreditation  granting agency  NBTE  in charge  of polytechnics in  Nigeria. 

The Rector assured that the accreditation will bring a boost in areas such as.

1.Human resource development through the provision of skilled man power.

2 To train people who can apply scientific knowledge to solve environmental problems for the convenience of man.

3. Offers an opportunity for students to personally practice the theoretical models in the classroom.

4. Provision of technical knowledge and skills necessary for agricultural, industrial, commercial and economic development of the nation.

5. Provide people who can apply scientific knowledge to the improvement and solution of environmental hazard.

6. Give exposure on professional studies in technology and

7. As well give training and impact the necessary skills for the production of technicians, technologists and other skilled personnels who shall be enterprising and self-reliant.

According to the Rector Dr. Agbabiaka, Federal Polytechnic Ekowe will undoubtably  majorly contribute to human resources in the nation.

He further make it clear that  Ekowe Polytechnic will be the number 1 to essentially provide different areas of skills and technical knowledge

Though our major  challenged is road network but Ekowe Polytechnic shall become the first among it’s kind in no distance time as we are fully ready to partner with all critical stakeholders and agencies to bring the desired development yearning for. This  promise is a must in no distant times and God will surely give us the enablement.
