Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Allocates New Facilities to Health Sciences Programmes

The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu (FEDPOLY Damaturu) has announced the allocation of new buildings and equipment to its newly established School of Health Sciences.
This was revealed by Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir during an interactive session with a National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and resource inspection team on Friday.
The newly equipped facilities, featuring state-of-the-art laboratories, will support the following programs: Public Health Technology, Disease Control Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Environmental Management Technology, Health Information Management Technology, Environmental Science and Technology, and Environmental Health Technology.
Rector Bashir also confirmed that other programs will receive permanent facilities to enhance their effectiveness.
Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar, leader of the NBTE inspection team, commended Rector Bashir for providing the necessary facilities, which facilitated their inspection, and expressed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality.
Esther Damisu, a Deputy Director at the NBTE, praised Rector Bashir in a vote of thanks for the improvements made in the past six month as Rector and urged him to continue his impactful work.
She also expressed gratitude for the warm welcome.
