Courses Offered in Lagos State Co-operative College Agege (LASCOCO) and Their School Fees

The Lagos State Cooperative College was established under section 2 of the Cooperative College Law of Lagos State to fulfill the mandate of Training, Research, Learning, and Management of Information Communication Technology to Cooperators and members of the public at both Local and International levels.
Established and Commissioned on July 12, 2012, and the bill passed into law in 2018, the College is challenged to provide skilled manpower that will assist in the realization of the mission of the State Government to eradicate poverty and promote the economic growth of the State. It is also poised to provide an enabling environment for the provision of sound Cooperative Education, Economic Empowerment, and the acquisition of appropriate entrepreneurial skills.
Below are the lists of the courses offered in the school.
NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) IN MICROFINANCE AND ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT
REQUIREMENT: Five (5) credit passes in Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), W.A.S.C, NECO, GCE (O’ level) or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics and any of Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, and any other two subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.
NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) IN COOPERATIVE ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT
Requirement: West Africa School Certificate, General Certificate of Education (GCE) at ordinary Level, Senior Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSCE) or the equivalent (NECO) with five (5) credits (at 1 or 2 sittings) including English Language and Mathematics (neither Literature in English nor Oral English is acceptable in place of English Language) and any other three from Accounts, Economics, Commerce, Business Studies, History, Statistics, Government, Agric. Science / Biology.
PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN COOPERATIVE STUDIES.
This Course is available to newly appointed officers of Cooperative Societies as well Cooperative Officers. It is also meant for cooperative senior staff cadres. Students attending this course must possess either a University Degree or its equivalent or four passes obtained at the Certificate Course of Cooperative Studies at State Cooperative Colleges or other relevant institutions and three passes at WASC/SSCE/GCE/NECO in three relevant subjects.
