As one of the four colleges of education approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in June 2016, Diamond College of Education has the accreditation of the National Commission for College of Education (NCCE) also in 2016.

By this accreditation, Diamond College of Education is empowered to award NCE certificates to qualified students who meet the set NCCE standard and requirements as also approved by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for its admissions into NCE programmes.
