CONFUSION AS FPI MGT INCREASED TUITION FEE
The ICT department of the federal polytechnic IDAH, kogi state, has increased tuition fees by additional Ten thousand Naira in which has result to confusion among the students.
Right from time, IDAH poly has been one of the cheapest schools in the north with a maximum tuition fees of #30,000 for the first year and #20,000 for second year.
About three weeks ago the school Management announced payment of school fees and acceptance fees and the amount on the portal was #31,100 but surprisingly as students woke up this morning to see #41,100 on the school portal without any notice from the school authority.
The school management has added #10,000 to the tuition fees in which students described as exorbitant and burden for them to bear.
It is not clear to POLY TV yet whether the additional fee is a mistake from the ICT department and neither did the SUG speak on the matter yet.
However, the students were urged to suspend payments of school fees for now pending when the issue would be resolved.
