Can I Marry a Woman Who Cheated on Me and Slept With Someone Else?

During a program I anchored, one of the participants asked if I had ever experienced this before and if it’s possible to trust such a woman and marry her after she cheats on you and sleeps with someone else.

I nodded yes, but clarified that experience is not always the best teacher. My experience may be bitter, but that doesn’t mean yours will be either.

From my experience, building a relationship with a woman who slept with someone else while in a serious relationship with you isn’t worth it. First, she doesn’t respect you; second, she’s cheap; and third, she can’t be trusted.

If your woman respects you as her man, she will never cheat on you. Cheating on you and sleeping with another man shows your girlfriend is cheap and easy to get for any man. Whatever that man may promise her that makes her betray your love proves her to be cheap. In addition, such a woman can’t be trusted, and she will cause you more pain in future.

Forgiveness is very important in a relationship. I forgave her, ignored how she cheated on me, and accepted her back because I believe love is the most important thing in a relationship.

Unfortunately, this woman has been cheating on me for a long time. Even though it was clear and I saw some signs, I waited until I had strong evidence because It doesn’t make sense to accuse someone of infidelity without proof. When the proof came out, it was shocking. Imagine trusting someone with all your life only for them to disappoint you?.

In my own case, I forgave and let it go until it happened again. That was when I realized that continuing a relationship with a woman who cheated on you and slept with someone else isn’t worth it.

She begged and begged and cried. I knew that cry was to manipulate me because that is what cheaters do—claim it was a mistake or blame the Devil. If you believe them, you will easily be deceived by women.

Even if you forgive her, she might not repent because she knows you will forgive her again. My friends advised me to go back, saying if I truly loved her, then I must not break up with her.

I quickly remind them of my grandfather’s favorite quote, which says, “Love is not enough.” If she truly loved me, she would have remained loyal to me, but she didn’t.

Yes, love alone isn’t enough to sustain a relationship with someone you hope to marry in future. Same reason she claimed to love you but still opened her legs for another man. No matter how good you are as a man, there will still be some toasters who are better than you, but a woman who is loyal to you will never give room for them not to talk of sleeping with another man while in a committed relationship with you.

Can a woman who slept with someone else while in a relationship with you change?

Yes, she can change; change is the only constant in life, but if your girlfriend has cheated on you more than once, I doubt if such a woman can ever change.

You see, in a relationship, one thing you shouldn’t tolerate from a woman is “infidelity,” because the consequences of cheating can cause you more pain for the rest of your life if you marry a woman who doesn’t know how to keep her things in one place. If you think I’m lying, ask men who are divorced after discovering their child belongs to someone else. You will be shocked if DNA proves otherwise in future.

Do you know why our forefathers valued virginity in marriage? They believed a woman who could preserve herself that long would be loyal to them in marriage, but now in this digital age where a teenager has access to the internet, virginity doesn’t guarantee marriage anymore because sex is now a priority.

And now that sex seems to be the major priority, loyalty becomes important. She might not give you her virginity, but what is more important than virginity? It is loyalty. If a woman can’t stay loyal to you, just know that you have lost her, and if you marry such a woman, you may regret doing so in future.

If your woman cheated on you, bro, walk away; she will cry like the river Niger, and water will roll down her eyes like the river Benue claiming it was a mistake. That is their weapon to manipulate you. You can’t afford to build a future with a cheap woman who has no respect for you.

In conclusion: Never marry a woman who has cheated on you and slept with someone else. Loyalty, self-discipline, and morals are necessities that every woman must have.

Loyalty is more important than love. Virginity is not the best gift for a man; rather, loyalty is the best gift any woman can give you. If she can’t be loyal to you while you are nothing, then she doesn’t deserve to be with you when you are somebody. There is no love without sacrifice, and loyalty is a sacrifice every woman must offer her man.

If you care about your mental health and overall well-being, I will advise you never to go back to cheaters, no matter how much you love them. Remember, love is not enough. Nevertheless, whether or not to marry a woman who cheated on you and slept with someone else is still a personal decision because you know her better than I do.
