The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the institution, applications are now open for ND Part-Time as well as HND Full-Time and Part-Time programmes. Interested candidates who meet the admission requirements are advised to begin their application process through the Polytechnic’s official portal.

MAPOLY ND Full-Time Screening Exercise 2026/2027

The Polytechnic also announced its screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into National Diploma (ND) Full-Time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates eligible to apply include:

• Candidates who selected Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta as their first choice institution during the 2026 UTME and scored 100 and above.
• Candidates who did not initially choose MAPOLY as first choice but scored 100 and above in the 2026 UTME can also apply, provided they carry out a change of institution to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic through any accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
• Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old as of 30th September, 2026.

Method of Application for ND Full-Time

Candidates seeking admission are required to visit the Polytechnic’s online portal at:

MAPOLY Official Portal

Applicants are expected to complete the admission processing and bio-data form online.

Application Fee and Screening Process

Candidates are to obtain access to the Polytechnic’s website using a Cash/Debit ATM card with the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) payable through any bank of their choice.

Applicants should:

1. Log on to the institution’s portal.
2. Click on “Prospective Students”.
3. Complete the required bio-data form.
4. Upload passport photograph and relevant information.
5. Supply valid email address and phone number.
6. Click on “Submit”.
7. Print out the screening form after submission.

Deadline for Submission

The Polytechnic stated that submission of bio-data forms for screening on the institution’s website will close on:

14th August, 2026

Screening Result

Successful candidates will be notified through the JAMB CAPS platform.

Admission into ND Part-Time and HND Full-Time/Part-Time Programmes

In a related development, the Polytechnic also announced admission into:

• National Diploma (ND) Part-Time Programmes
• Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-Time Programmes
• Higher National Diploma (HND) Part-Time Programmes

ND Part-Time Admission Requirements

Applicants for ND Part-Time programmes must possess qualifications obtained in:

• NECO
• SSCE
• WASCE
• GCE O’Level
• NABTEB
• SSSCSE
• Or equivalent qualifications

The institution noted that all applications into part-time programmes should be completed through the Polytechnic portal with the relevant entry requirements applicable to full-time programmes.

Candidates seeking admission into ND Part-Time programmes are also required to visit the JAMB Office to apply and complete the JAMB Part-Time application form.

MAPOLY added that only candidates with evidence of completed JAMB Part-Time application forms will be considered for admission.

The institution further stated that the National Identification Number (NIN) is mandatory for JAMB registration.

HND Full-Time and Part-Time Admission Requirements

The institution explained that the general entry requirements for ND Part-Time also apply to HND Full-Time and Part-Time programmes.

Applicants Must:

• Carefully study the institution’s prospectus to confirm qualification requirements before applying.
• Avoid registering for programmes for which they do not meet the requirements.
• Note that admission remains provisional until all verification processes are completed.

Additional Requirements

Candidates applying for HND programmes must:

• Satisfy MAPOLY entry requirements for the relevant ND programme.
• Possess at least a Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma programme from an accredited institution.
• Have completed a minimum of one calendar year post-ND relevant industrial work experience.

Alternatively:

• Candidates with a Pass grade in ND plus two years relevant industrial work experience may also be considered.

Applicants are required to forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar through:

The institution stated that hard copy transcripts will not be accepted or processed. Applicants must clearly indicate their department of study on the transcript.

Important Notice

• No candidate will be registered without receipt of academic transcript.
• Applicants with ND from other polytechnics using Pre-ND qualifications will not be admitted.
• Post-qualification ordinary level results are not acceptable for admission.
• Candidates with ND in Banking & Finance and ATS Certificate are not qualified for admission into HND Accountancy.
• Candidates wishing to specialize in Environmental Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or Physics must possess credit passes at O’Level in their chosen specialization areas.
