Again! NAPS Warn EDE POLY Students against Paying School Fees, Accuses MGT of Fraud
The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), has alleged that the admission process at the Federal Polytechnic Ede, osun state is fraudulent, thereby urging the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and Federal Ministry of Education to investigate the school management.
This is coming as the institution increased school fee for 2021/2022 academic session by 45% a development which the association totally rejected and call for reconsideration.
The association also call on the school authority to refund all the newly admitted students their acceptance fee with the point that the admission process is in form of fraudulent and exhortation.
Comrade Adeniji Boluwaji, NAPS Deputy senate president said, “We are calling on the attention of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and other body in Polytechnic sector to the issues of school fee increment in Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State.
“The Leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is asking the Management team of Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State to refund all newly admitted students form fee and Acceptance fee because admission is in form of fraudulent and Exhortation.”

Comrade Adeniji warn the concerned students not to pay school fees until the school management reconsider a reduction on the tuition fees.
He said, “We are using this channel to inform the Newly admitted Students not to pay School fee of Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State till further notice.
“The Leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) will continue to protect all the interest of Nigerian Polytechnic Students and all others Allied institutions that is Awarding National Diploma and Higher National Diploma across Nigeria and Diaspora.”

The Association met with the school management last week but the meeting end in deadlock as the school management refused to approve a reduction on the school fees.
