ADOPOLY to Conduct SUG Election as ASUP Warning Strike Expires

The management of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti has said that the Student Union government (SUG) Election which was earlier suspended due to the two weeks warning strike embarked on by the Academic staff union of polytechnics (ASUP) will now hold on Wednesday 1st June 2022.
The school management have also released the names of aspirants that are eligible to contest in the Students union Election.
According to the timetable obtained by POLYTV, Election campaign will hold on Monday 30th May followed by Manifesto on Tuesday 31st May and Student Union executives election on Wednesday 1st June 2022.
Hall of residence election has been fixed for Thursday 2nd June 2022.
The school management added that newly elected executives would be sworn into office on Monday 6th June 2022.
