The National Association of Yungur Students (NAYS), Mubi chapter, has once again etched its name in the history books by emerging first in the Cultural Dance category at the Federal Polytechnic Mubi’s cultural festival—marking the third consecutive victory for the group in this competition.
The cultural event, known for showcasing the rich traditions of diverse student communities, saw NAYS Mubi stand out with an electrifying performance that captivated both the audience and judges. Their outstanding choreography, vibrant costumes, and energetic display of Yungur heritage earned them top honors yet again.
Speaking on the victory, the association expressed heartfelt appreciation to the dancers, choreographers, and the entire support team whose hard work and dedication made the win possible.
“This is more than just a trophy,” a spokesperson said. “It’s a celebration of our culture, unity, and excellence. We are proud to represent the Yungur people with honor and distinction.”
This win not only underscores the group’s commitment to cultural promotion but also reflects the growing impact of student-led efforts to preserve Nigeria’s diverse heritage. The association urged members and supporters to continue embracing their identity while striving for excellence in all spheres.
As celebrations continue, NAYS Mubi remains a shining example of how passion and teamwork can preserve tradition and inspire future generations.
