University of Jos (UNIJOS) Academic Calendar for the 2022/2023 Academic Session

This is to inform all the newly admitted students and the returning students of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) that the approved academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session has been released by the school authority.

Academic activities for the first semester 2022/2023 session will commence on Monday 11th September 2023.

Registration for new students will commence on Monday 28th August 2023 and 4th September 2023 for returning students.

1st semester lectures will commence on Monday 11th September 2023.

Late registration – Monday 16th September 2023

First semester examination will commence on Monday 4th December 2023 to Saturday 23rd December 2023.

25th December to 1st January 2024 – Christmas Break

Monday 2nd January 2024 – commencement of industrial attachment

Second semester 2022/2023 academic session will commence on Monday 8th January 2024. Registration and lectures will commence on the same date.

Saturday 30th March 2024 – end of lectures for Second semester

Second semester 2022/2023 examination will commence on Monday 1st April 2024.

11	Thursday 20^th June 2024	Senate meeting to consider 2^nd semester examination results.
12	Friday 21^st June 2024	End of 2022/2023 academic session
