Tiv Joshua Warns Politicians to Stay Away From Student Matters
BENUE STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP IS NOT A POLITICAL FUNCTION: TIV JOSHUA WARNS POLITICIANS TO STAY AWAY FROM STUDENT MATTERS .
The president, national Union of Benue state Students (NUBESS), National Secretariat, dogged Comrade Joshua Tiv has strongly warned Benue state politicians, to as a matter of necessity stop injecting poisonous venom into the bone marrows of the philanthropic gesture of governor Samuel Ortom’s fatherly decision, to release 50 million naira, to be disbursed to Benue state Students, despite the financial hardship anchored by covid 19 pandemic that has crippled the economy globally.
Tiv Joshua noted , he is very much aware of some politicians, who are sponsoring youths most worrisome some inexperienced Benue state Students to cause violence in disguise, of those expressing concerns over the fifty million naira (50m) funds released for Scholarship payment, as being small for Benue state Students.
Joshua Lubem further advices Benue state Students, to resist the temptation of being used by some selfish politicians, who are determined to cause violence and stressed that , hence forth, the security shall take seriously any altarances that suggests violence and threatens the existing peace of Benue state , and shall deal DECISIVELY with the culprits, as Benue state Students are only and completely grateful to the governor of Benue state, Dr Samuel Ortom for releasing the first trench of the scholarship, with the hope that another trench will COME VERY SOON FROM THE GOVERNOR .
The NUBESS president finally appreciates Benue state Students, for their understanding and cooperation and for keeping faith alive with his administration, but said anybody who writes , acts or instigates violence is not a Benue state student and the union shall turn a deaf ear to anyone cought instigating protest on this premise.
