SAMMADECOM Investments Seeks Strategic Partnership With Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin-Ladi





SAMMADECOM Investments, popularly known as Dr. Fish Investments, has expressed interest in establishing a strategic partnership with Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin-Ladi, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and institutional development.
The proposal was presented during a courtesy visit by the company’s Chief Executive Officer and his management team to the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Clement Selchum Chirman, at the institution’s main campus in Heipang on July 16, 2026.
During the meeting, the CEO explained that the partnership would focus on entrepreneurship development, corporate investments, personnel capacity building, hospitality management, information and communication resource sharing through professional retainership, and other collaborative initiatives designed to drive growth for both organizations.
He praised the Polytechnic’s management for the remarkable progress recorded in academic development and ongoing infrastructural expansion across the institution. He also highlighted the role Polytechnic education played in shaping his entrepreneurial journey, stating that the practical training he received laid the foundation for the innovation and business success he enjoys today.
In his response, Rector Dr. Clement Selchum Chirman appreciated the visit and commended the CEO of Dr. Fish Investments for his entrepreneurial accomplishments and contributions to the socio-economic development of Plateau State.
The Rector noted that Polytechnic education continues to produce skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders through its practical and career-oriented approach. He described Dr. Fish as a strong example of how technical and vocational education can positively transform lives and businesses.
Dr. Chirman reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to building strategic partnerships that promote entrepreneurship, research, innovation, workforce development, and stronger collaboration between academia and industry. He added that the Polytechnic remains committed to enhancing staff capacity while providing practical, solution-driven education that addresses Nigeria’s evolving economic needs.
He further assured the delegation of the institution’s readiness to explore areas of collaboration that would strengthen students’ entrepreneurial skills, improve institutional capacity, and contribute to sustainable national development.
The visit concluded with the presentation of SAMMADECOM Investments’ products to the Rector, an exchange of souvenirs, and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion, reflecting the shared commitment of both parties to developing a productive and long-term partnership.
