Press Club Mapoly Media Tour
The press club Mapoly under the administration of Jinadu Abdulrasheed Olamide embark on a media tour on 7th of April,2022.
The media tour which was added into the club’s administrative schedule was put in place by the club to help members get familiar with the practice of journalism beyond class experiences.
This year’s media tour was a visit to 32fm which was situated on the 4th floor cocoa house in Dugbe and Tribune newspaper in Imelefalafia, Oke Ado,Ibadan city.
The students were warmly welcomed by the officials of the media houses and shown, educated on the departments in the organizations and how their operations are been carried out.
They were taken to the departments and studios and shown equipment used for recording, disseminating informations, printing presses and personalities that engage in operating the systems.
The freebies among the students say the experience was an exciting and educating one and they are happy to be a member of the club.
Ademolu Toheeb olawale a National Diploma(ND)1 student said :”I’m very excited to be a member of Press Club Mapoly.GOD bless mapoly, GOD bless PCM, GOD bless us .
Kofoworola also said:”Thanks to all that came.Hats off for the admin.And standing ovation for all the admin who came and those who made the journey fun filled”.
Gbadamosi Opeyemi another ND1 student said:”I really appreciate the president of MAPOLY press club,the vice president,the secretary,the PRO,the welfare director expecially and bro DELE I appreciate you alot and the remaining PCM EXCOs I really appreciate you guys.
All executives of the club felt happy as they were able to achieve one of their objective for this administration.
Moyosola Ilesanmi, the welfare director said: I am glad all the stress we went through to go for the media tour was worth it and i look forward to us achieving other plans we have in store for the club.
